Luuli earned her B.S. in Neuroscience from Indiana University in 2017. Following graduation, she worked as a research associate in the Tracey Lab at Indiana University. In 2019, Luuli entered the Molecular Biology Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz and joined the Franco Lab the following year. She is interested in understanding the gene regulatory networks and molecular mechanisms that drive neural progenitors in the dorsal forebrain towards an oligodendrocyte fate. Luuli loves Colorado and living an active lifestyle. She goes hiking and mushroom hunting in the Rocky Mountains on most weekends, and she also loves to cook. Luuli is supported by a T32 Training Grant in Molecular Biology.
